Volunteers assist with a variety of duties: race bag stuffing, registration, street marshal, refreshment servers, general gopher duties. Some opportunities prior to the event, most day-of the event.
This is an exciting, fast paced event. Some posts require individuals with high level of mobility. This is an outdoor event in the summer heat and direct sun exposure, so we encourage individuals to wear hat, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and glasses. Some posts will require individuals to arrive before race starts, approximately 5:30 AM. Race breakdown requires individuals to be at race site until approximately 10:30 AM. Upon sign up, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, identifying them as a volunteer.
